Lists the current categories
Category
Specifies the category code.
Description
Specifies a brief description of the category.
Units Required
Specifies the total component units required to satisfy the category, for example, nine units from components worth three units each. You must enter a value in this field.
Note: If you do not populate the Units Required field, iMIS considers the category complete upon the first occurrence of a registration for a component within that category.
Make this a combo category
Select this option to specify that this is a combo category. A combo category includes a combination of two or more categories.When you select this option, an additional field is shown so you can add the other categories associated with the combo category.
Combo category field
Lists available categories for the selected combo category. This field is shown when you select the Make this a combo category option.
Lets you generate and print a Category Description report for the selected Component Category.
